Tariffs
As "Burnout" is not (yet) in the psychologist's 'bible' (DSM-V), so the treatment is not paid by the insurance company. Therefore, an employer will rather have you consulting a GZ-psychologist, who is paid by the insurance company.
The problem is: GZ-psychologists are not educated or trained to treat a burnout .....
To be successful, a burnout must be treated in a scientifically manner by an experienced psychologist.
With a life-time experience of helping people (I am now retired) and I enjoy a sufficient pension benefit.
That means I don't have to earn a living by treating people with a burnout.
That's why -in my opinion- my tariffs are acceptable.
Usually, I have to travel quite a distance and I have to hire an office, that's included.
The first exploratory meeting is for free.
I ask €80 - €90, for a session of 1 hour, depending on the extra costs. Tests and questionnaires are included. Because I don't have to travel or to rent anoffice, the tariff for an online seddion is €70.
Commonly we need 8-12 sessions to get you "on your feet again", which means: employable again.
An official, written diagnose (I rather speak of a "strong indication") with the necessary tests, costs €200, --
The tariffs for your employer are not different, this might convince them to pay your treatment. Otherwise, you're on sick leave for at least 8-10 weeks and this might be legally extended to 2 years.
